BasketBall Game

We’re excited to share an incredible opportunity; our cheerleaders have been invited to perform during halftime at the University of San Diego (USD) college Basket Ball game!

Date: Saturday, February 28th, 2026
Time: 1:00pm-3:00pm
(Cheerleaders arrive at 1:00, the game starts around 2:00pm, the half-time performance at approximately 2:30pm, done by 3:00pm)
Location: University of San Diego (USD), Jenny Craig Pavilion, 5998 Alcala Park, San Diego 92110

This is a fantastic chance for our cheerleaders to shine on the court in front of a spirited college crowd; it’s sure to be a memorable and fun-filled experience!

Participation is completely optional, but we’d love to see as many of our cheerleaders there as possible. If your child is unable to attend, no worries—they will still get to perform at our end-of-session showcase during the final class of the session.

Important Information

What To Wear

Cheerleaders:

Tee or tank that is solid white,

black leggings/athletic pants/or shorts,

any color tennis shoes/sneakers,

hair pulled back with a blue cheer bow (girls)

(or sweatband set for boys) we will provide at the game.

*We recommend decorate your child's tees at home prior to the performance to make your child easier to spot on the field.

Please note we will not be accepting volunteer emails until February 10th.

Were always looking for volunteers to help us out at the USD performance (supervising the cheerleaders backstage and lining up the cheerleaders and escorting them down to where they will perform)

Tickets

ALL FAMILY AND FRIENDS ATTENDING THE GAME TO WATCH YOUR CHILD PERFORM WILL NEED TO PURCHASE A TICKET ONLINE IN ADVANCE IN ORDER TO GET INTO JENNY CRAIG PAVILION TO WATCH THEM PERFORM DURING HALF-TIME.

When you drop your cheerleader off, you will receive one free ticket for your cheerleader (Not for Parents or family).

Group rate discounted tickets are available for purchase online in advance only for a discounted rate via our Link. Please note the link will be AVAILABLE one week prior to the game sent in texts, emails, and posted here. Children 3 and under are free and do not need a ticket ONLY IF they are sitting on a lap. If you want your age 3 and under child to have an actual seat, they will need to be purchased via the link below.

IN ORDER TO WATCH THE PERFORMANCE DURING HALF-TIME, YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE A TICKET, AS YOU WILL NEED ONE UPON ENTRY. Seating is general admission (NOT assigned seating) and first come first serve.

Upon Arrival

Look for hot pink t-shirts!
After parking in the parking structure

(map will be provided in the next few weeks) proceed up the hill adjacent to the Torero Football Stadium where you will see our team of instructors/greeters in hot pink t-shirts at the gates to the right of the upper culdesac at the top of the hill, directing you to the plaza area. Our instructors/greeters will escort your child to their designated line, where we will stage and rehearse prior to the performance. Each line will be assigned a color and a number.

Before Arrival

Please take your child to the restroom PRIOR to drop off at Jenny Craig loading dock. This will ensure a smooth transition leading up to the performance as there may be 45 min of time where bathroom breaks will NOT be available.

Dismissal

You will note that on the back side of the free ticket, there will be a colored dot indicating what line you will wait in to pick up your cheerleader after the performance.

We ask that you please line up in a single file line in front of our instructors holding signs with the color and line number for your convenience!

Dismissal is done line by line, ensuring that every cheerleader is accounted for, so please be patient!

ADDITIONALLY, WE ASK THAT ONLY ONE PARENT OR FAMILY MEMBER REPRESENTATIVE PER CHILD COME TO THE DISMISSAL AREA TO PICK UP YOUR PERFORMING CHILD TO LIMIT WALKWAY TRAFFIC/CONGESTION AND CONFUSION AND HELP SAFELY STREAMLINE THIS PROCESS.

Rain or Shine

The half-time performance will take place rain or shine. In the event that weather conditions do not permit us to use the outdoor plaza area for staging or USD has an outdoor spacing conflict, please refer to our back-up staging area

Backup staging/performing cheerleader drop off procedures

In the event of poor weather and/or outdoor spacing conflict, drop off will instead take place at the top of the ramp to the left of the box office look for the

Blue information tent and

Hot Pink CDC Shirts

in the cul de sac area adjacent to the plaza area. Our team will lead your cheerleaders down the ramp and into an indoor area inside the back entrance to Jenny Craig Pavilion adjacent to the fitness center. ONLY parent volunteers and our team of instructors are permitted to go down the ramp and into this room!

Please then head to seats
